E-commerce order metadata: additional support added for sales orders

Our native Shopify or WooCommerce integrations create and populate the following fields when querying sales orders:

  • ecommerce_order_type
  • ecommerce_store_name
  • ecommerce_order_id

These fields will now also be supported when creating sales orders via API. This means that extra details can be saved to e-commerce orders and stores for custom integrations. Mapping the ID from the source system to Katana is useful and recommended when syncing updates between the systems.
