Assigns the provided list of serial numbers to the specified resource.
For ManufacturingOrder, PurchaseOrderRow
and StockAdjustmentRow, serial numbers that don't exist yet are created.
For SalesOrderRow and StockTransferRow,
the serial numbers must already exist.
For Production, the serial numbers must already be assigned to the production's
manufacturing order.
