Pick everything a manufacturing order still needs

🚧

Beta — subject to change. This endpoint is publicly available, but its request/response shape may evolve before General Availability as we incorporate early feedback.

Picks what every recipe row still needs: its total_actual_quantity, or the planned quantity when none is set, less what is already picked.

  • Batches, serial numbers and bins pre-assigned on the recipe rows are taken first; the rest is taken from stock following the location's settings.
  • All or nothing: when stock can't cover everything, nothing is picked and the response is 422 PICK_ALL_NOT_IN_STOCK with details.rows: each recipe row, its ingredient's variant_id and its shortfall. Pick those rows with POST /manufacturing_orders/{id}/pick once stock arrives, or lower their actual quantity.
  • 422 INVENTORY_SETTINGS_VIOLATED when the account's inventory settings forbid the movement, for example a pre-assigned batch that has since moved would take stock below zero.
  • An order that is already fully picked returns an empty list.
