Pick ingredients for a manufacturing order

🚧

Beta — subject to change. This endpoint is publicly available, but its request/response shape may evolve before General Availability as we incorporate early feedback.

Records the material taken from stock for a manufacturing order, per recipe row, with the batches, serial numbers and bins it came from. Ingredient picking must be on for the account.

  • The stock leaves inventory for this order on picked_date; completions of the order then consume only picked material.
  • Picking more than a row's planned (or actual) quantity raises the row's total_actual_quantity to the picked total.
  • Refused with 422 INVENTORY_SETTINGS_VIOLATED when the account's inventory settings forbid the movement, such as stock going below zero. We recommend turning on Negative stock prevention for picking accounts.

To pick everything the order still needs, use POST /manufacturing_orders/{id}/pick_all. See the picking guide.
